Allen Lash
President & Company Founder
Allen Lash, founder and President of AgriSolutions Inc., is a widely recognized leader in the area of financial management for agriculture. Mr. Lash founded the company in 1967.
In addition to his current leadership responsibilities, Lash is active as a consultant and educator. He has spoken before thousands of farm and agribusiness groups throughout the United States, Canada and several European countries. He possesses a tireless commitment to producer education.
Lash has had numerous career milestones. One of those occurred when AgriSolutions was requested by FmHA (currently known as FSA) to author its financial analysis training material, and was selected to deliver those educational programs to all of the FmHA ag loan officers (4,200) in the United States. Lash and his staff conducted over 180 of the week-long educational sessions. Another key highlight in Lash’s career began in 1996, when he successfully negotiated a $13,500,000 contract with AgriBank, FCB, and Farm Credit Services 7th District to develop and market a new series of products and services specifically designed to increase agricultural producers’ profits.
More recently, Lash has contributed his leadership, time and talents to the Pork Production and Financial Standards guidelines. He chaired the Financial Standards Committee and was Chair of the Managerial Accounting sub-committee. The Iowa Soybean Association selected Lash to chair its own Crop Financial Standards Committee. He is now a leader in the Northeast Dairy Standards initiative. Lash has been involved in the Farm Financial Standards Council since its inception.

Carolyn Roberts
Asst Director of Operations/FCS Key Account Manager
Carolyn Roberts joined AgriSolutions in 1987. Since joining the organization, Carolyn has worked in almost every area within the company and has been a member of the management team since 1993.
Carolyn's first management role was Support Services Manager. In that role, she oversaw the distribution of new and updated software, managed the technical support specialists who handle the incoming software support calls, developed and delivered software-related training seminars and User Conferences. She also gathered data from incoming calls to provide the Systems Manager information necessary to enhance and maintain the software.
In 1997, she was assigned the responsibility for Quality Control of the software products, requiring her to develop, test and execute software test plans and establish a process for Corrective Action of software issues. In 2000, Carolyn also began managing the Centralized Accounting Department which processes clients’ accounting records and completes the setup of the accounting file for all new clients.
In early 2001, AgriSolutions combined its Support, Distribution, Education and Centralized Accounting Departments into a Centralized Services unit. Carolyn is the Manager of this unit. Under her leadership, the Centralized Services unit was the first to fully implement the organizations’ Customer Relationship Management tool. Additionally, she was instrumental in developing materials for and making use of the AgManager Webinar training process as well as implementing a web based product to provide customer service. AgriSolutions was one of the first agricultural service organizations in the United States to begin offering web-based training and customer service. Carolyn is proud to be the Key Account Manager for one of AgriSolutions’ largest clients, Farm Credit Services.
In May, 2008 Carolyn was promoted to Assistant Director of Operations for AgriSolutions.

Daryl Pohlman
Consulting & Implementation Manager
Daryl joined AgriSolutions in 1988 in an accounting and support role. He received an associate's degree in accounting prior to joining AgriSolutions Inc. He assisted in developing and planning the 180+ training sessions delivered to FmHA (now FSA) employees during 1991 and 1992. In addition to software technical support, Daryl also provided hardware support for the organization.
Beginning in 2001, Daryl was promoted to Team Leader for the technical support department, assuring that customers received timely responses to their software questions, providing licensees with technical support and supervision of their successful use of AgManager. Daryl was in charge of the planning and coordination of the annual user conferences and other software related training sessions for software users and delivered many of those training sessions. He assisted in testing of software and documenting software enhancements and issues received from users.
In 2002, Daryl was promoted to Account/Service Manager where he worked with many of AgriSolutions clients in a sales and service delivery role.
In 2005, in addition to client service responsibilities, Daryl was promoted to Consulting and Implementation Manager. He was also a member of the Senior Management Team representing the Consulting Division.
Daryl continues in his consulting role in 2008, but has assumed additional responsibilities for industry leadership and consulting development. He will take a more active role in the capital mangement of the business and in developing AgriSolutions corporate image throughout the agricultural industry.

Leona Cox
Director of Operations
Sales and Marketing Manager
Leona, formerly the Cost Control Department Manager for an Anheuser Busch subsidiary, joined the organization in 1992. She has been consistently promoted within the firm. Leona has worked in new business development, sales planning and support, project management, as Centralized Services co-manager, and Key Accounts Manager.
Leona continues to directly manage the AgriSolutions sales staff who follow a pre-defined sales process to secure producer interest in the company's products and services. The sales process includes email/mail, and phone campaigns to complete a Professional Needs Assessment. Internet demonstrations are scheduled to help showcase the value and benefits of working with AgriSolutions. Leveraging the organization's consultant and technical staff’s expertise during the demonstrations has helped ensure sales success. This highly organized team of individuals have set company sales records under Leona's management.
Formerly a member of the Senior Management Team, Leona was promoted in May, 2008 to the position of Director of Operations with responsibility for all AgriSolutions day-to-day operational activities including service delivery, sales, technology, systems development, and internal operations.

Cheryl Brooks
Administration Manager
Cheryl Brooks joined AgriSolutions in August, 2005. As Manager of Administration, she is responsible for Human Resources, Internal Accounting, Internal Systems, and Facilities. She brings with her over 25 years of experience in the business field working for both large and small organizations in the areas of human resources and administration. Cheryl obtained her bachelor's degree in Business Management from Western Illinois University. She completed several courses at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville where she was a member of Phi Kappa Phi and Beta Gamma Sigma honor societies and the National Dean's List. She also received the E. R. Casstevens Award for Excellence in Business Communications.
Prior to joining AgriSolutions, Cheryl was employed for almost 20 years at Olin Corporation in positions of increasing authority. Her most recent position there was Manager of Training and Development with responsibility for six plant locations. She also served as a Corporate College Recruiter and Group Records Retention Officer.

Val Maeker
Service Provider
Val joined AgriSolutions in 1971. He is currently a Senior Accounting Specialist. He has managed an AgriSolutions field office for over 25 years.
Val grew up on a dairy and crop farm in West Texas. He is active in all phases of FFA contests and Training People to People Tour of Eastern and Western Europe. Val is an active member on the Chamber of Commerce Ag Committee as well as various committees of St. John's Lutheran Church.
Val received his B.S. in Animal Science from Texas Technical University and his M.S. in Ag Economics from the Texas Technical University. He also has an American Farmer degree in F.F.A.

Roger Booth

Roger joined AgriSolutions in 1978, as the accountant in charge of a startup office in Jerseyville, Illinois. In 1985, Roger assumed the role of Systems Manager, although he continued to work with a select customer base providing service and consultation. As Systems Manager, Roger led the migration of AgManager® from a mainframe computer environment to a DOS PC based product then to the current Windows® product. He supervised the development of the ProfitProfiles database and reporting, and was a member of the Standards team that worked with the NPPC’s Standards initiative.
Today, Roger continues providing consulting services to a select group of clients. He is also the subject matter expert for continuing development and enhancements to AgManager®, delivers associated webinars, and is a key resource for the AgIQ benchmarking project. He assists in the AgriSolutions peer review process and delivers internal training programs.
